Last weekend Nicky, Jaouad and Chris competed in the Greifmasters bench minor tournament in Karlsruhe, Germany. Together with Taka, Jamal and Bram from Holland, Samson from Denmark and Agatha from Poland they formed team Benelux.
We won against Italy and Karlsruhe, tied against London and lost the 5 other games. The teams consisted of the top 10 players of each country, so in the end we were pretty happy with our 7th place. The frogs took home the trophy, by the way. Click here if you get off on numbers and statistics.
Thanks to captain Taka, all the teammates and Andre and Caro for letting us crash at their pad. Hopefully we can come back next year with team Belgium!
